Our trip will start by setting off towards the Northern part of the country for Selenge province, the agriculture based province where the most of the farm land, crop and wheat field of Mongolia are concentrated. Having the largest rivers of Mongolia, such as Orkhon, Selenge, Kharaa and Yuruu,  flowing through the province, the area is considered as one of the most forested  and fertile soiled parts of Mongolia.  We will visit Amarbayasgalant and ErdeneZuu monasteries which are the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the finest examples of Mongolian architecture that survived the communist repressions of 1930s. Furthermore, you will be provided with an opportunity to enjoy the picturesque natural scenery while riding a two humped Bactrian camel across the sand dunes of “ElsenTasarkhai”, the so called “little gobi”. The trip will take you to the crater of a dormant volcano named “Urantogoo”, enabling you to enjoy a pleasant walk in the grandeur of nature surrounding the crater. We will visit a local nomad family and have a taste of Mongolian dairy products, such as “Airag”, fermented mare’s milk,  milk tea, curds and cheese.
