Mongolia is known as the land of horses. The nomadic people have worshipped horses for many years. The docile and friendly horses and untouched landscapes make Mongolia the perfect place for horseback riding.

Day 1: Arrive in Ulaanbaatar.

Day 2: Drive to Terelj , meet local team.

Day 3: Horse riding

Day 1. Arrive in UB. City tour included: Mongolian national history museum and Gandan monastery.

Day 2. Drive to Terelj. En route we will enjoy “Turtle Rock” and visit to “Meditation temple”.Arrive in Terelj and meet our horsemen.

Day 3.Horse riding: After having breakfast, we will be riding past steppe, mountain, and valleys to get the next stop. We have packed our baggage on the horses.

Today, the distance of riding is 20 km /overnight tents/

Day 4.Horse riding:I

n the early morning, we will visit Gunj temple which is a temple built by EfuDondovdorj to commemorate the death of his Manchurian wife Amarlangui. Later we will trek through high mountain forests until we reach our campsite.20 km

Day 5.Horse riding:

Continue trekking through the nature. You will be able to smell wild flowers growing beneath you. You will hear birds chirping and soaring above you. We will camp next to Dondbayan river at the base of AltanUlgiimountain. 25km of riding.Overnight in a tent.

Day 6.Horse riding:

We will descend from high mountain taiga belt to forest zone. Here, we will visit nomadic families and learn more about nomadic lifestyles. This evening we will meet our driver.

Day 7.Relaxing day. Enjoy and discovery Mongolian nomadic life.

Day 8.Horse riding:

After having breakfast, we will ride through in the beautiful valley. It`s last days of horse riding. Riding distance is 25km.

Day 9. Drive to Khustai national park via Ulaanbaatar. En route we will enjoy The Genghis Khan Statue is a 40-metre tall statue of Ghengis Khan on horseback. Arrive in Khustai national park.It` s the home to Przewalski horse, the last truly wild horse first discovered by a Russian zoologist Nikolai MikhailovichPrzhevalsky in 1870s. In the 1960s the horse became extinct in the wild, largely due to competition with domestic livestock for grazing land and water and to hunting for horsemeat.

Overnight in ger.

Day 10. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and transfer to the hotel. Free in the afternoon. In the evening we enjoy a live folk performance and have farewell dinner in a restaurant. Overnight in hotel.

  • Tourist Ger Camps: The camp is made up of several Gers, furnished with 2-3 beds, a stove and other traditional furniture, and has all modern facilities, including washing blocks with western style toilets and shower rooms, laundry places, restaurant and shopping facilities. As there is no heating system in the Gers, the stoves are used for heating.Click here to see information of hotel
  • Tents: We use tents of Ferrino brand that are easy to put up and take down and most importantly, perfectly suit Mongolia’s extreme weather condition.

  • Meals: A group made up of more than three people will be provided with a professional chef who will be serving a wide variety of Asian, European and Mongolian dishes throughout the trip. You will be served breakfast, lunch accompanied with salad and snack, and hot meal for dinner carefully prepared to suitable the weather and condition in the trip field.

  • Transportation: We choose the transportation from 4×4 Russian vehicles, 4×4 Japanese or Korean vehicles and modern buses. The most suitable transportation for countryside travels is, in most cases, Russian vans. Baggage is sometimes carried on horse, camel and yak carts in relevance to the trip type.
